Car Insurance Discounts For Public Transit Users |

Eeka, over at her blog (1smootshort.blogspot.com), recently made a short post about an auto insurance discount for Massachusetts auto owners who use the public transit system as their primary source of transportation.
This requires the minimum purchase of 11 monthly pases during the insurance policy period. Eligible vehicles must be private vehicles and cannot be driven to school or work more than 9 days per month. The rules page does not specify just how much the discount is worth, but it does list some other savings available for Massachusetts drivers. Here is a list of Approved Public Transit Systems.
